The DEQ implements a Wetland Identification Program (WIP) to assist the public in identifying wetland and non-wetland (upland) areas on their property. The WIP is authorized by Part 303, Wetlands Protection, of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act, 1994 PA 451, as amended, and Rule 4, Wetland Identification (R 281.924), of the Administrative Rules for Part 303.
This search identifies wetland identification applications that have been received and reports the current status. The search results identify the application by assigned file number, property location, applicant information and status of the field inspection.
