Brownfields - USTfields Database

The Brownfields-USTfields Database contains information about state-nominated and state-funded cleanup sites as well as sites that have been redeveloped using the Baseline Environmental Assessment process. It is not a full list of contaminated properties in Michigan, and is intended to be utilized as supplemental information for the Part 201 Site Search, Part 211 Underground Storage Tank Site, and Part 213 Leaking Underground Storage Tank Site databases. To search for Brownfield or USTfield properties, select the appropriate county or district and click the submit button. Results are displayed 20 at a time in an html format. There are 1897 sites listed as of November 2009. Included in the database are both Part 201 and Part 213 sites. Site summaries and photographs can be accessed for properties that have blue font in the appropriate fields. Note: Definitions of column headings can be displayed by placing your cursor over the column heading in the search results. Click here for the district map.
