Michigan Toxic Chemical Release Inventory (TRI)

Michigan's TRI data can be searched by facility, county, and chemical. Release and waste management totals by media are given under each search. Totals are shown for air, water, underground injection, land, off-site disposal, discharges to POTW, and off-site waste management transfers (recycling, energy recovery, and treatment). The data is refreshed on the first of every month.

The data for 2008 is preliminary and represents 95 percent of the reports submitted. All reports should be in by the end of October.

Staff analyses and summary reports are available on-line for Report Years 1996 through 2007. Hard copies of reports are available for Report Years 1988 through 2007 from the Michigan SARA Title III Program. To request any of these reports, send an e-mail to Ruth Borgelt. Your E-mail should specify which reports you are requesting, and include your name, address, and a phone number.
