The S3TM software provided the statistical methods presented in the Part 201 Statistics Training Materials. An alternate software statistical package is available from the U.S. EPA is called ProUCL version 4.0. Users may also use other alternate statistical software. Please note that the principles found in the S3TM - Sampling Strategies and Statistics Training Materials for Part 201 Cleanup Criteria are still applicable, regardless of the statistical package used.
