LAKE HURON WORKSHOP, THOMAS EDISON INN, PORT HURON, held by the Michigan Office of the Great Lakes and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Great Lakes National Program Office. The purpose of the workshop is to identify indicators, monitoring efforts, and additional actions necessary to continue progress toward "restoring and maintaining the chemical, physical, and biological integrity of the waters, tributaries, and nearshore terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems of Lake Huron" and to set priorities for future actions. The workshop will focus on the development of Lake Huron Indicators for critical pollutants, physical habitat, and fisheries, and will identify priority actions for the protection and restoration of important ecological areas and Areas of Concern.
