On
September 3,
2008, the State Office of Administrative Hearings and Rules (SOAHR) approved a
Request for Rulemaking
(RFR) for a revision to Part 18, Prevention of Significant Deterioration of Air
Quality, R 336.2801 and R 336.2801a.
The proposed
revision to R 336.2801 is
being developed to modify existing definitions for the addition of PM-2.5
requirement pertaining to PSD. The proposed revision to R 336.2801a is
to update the federal regulations that have been adopted by reference. The RFR was withdrawn on May 26, 2009 as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has not yet finalized the federal PM2.5 regulations pertaining to PSD.
