Proposed Amendments to the Air Pollution Control Rules

On February 25, 2004, a Request for Rulemaking was approved for revisions to Part 1, General Provisions, R 336.1101-1104, R 336.1105, R 336.1109, R 336.1112-1114,  and R 336.1122, of the Air Pollution Control Rules.  The amendments were filed with the Secretary of State on March 28, 2008, and became effective immediately.

The definitions have been revised, which are used in the New Source Review (NSR) rules being developed and the Prevention of Signification Deterioration (PSD) permitting rules .  In addition, the DEQ modified the definition of Volatile Organic Compound in R 336.1122.  See below for additional information (also see 2004-007EQ for Part 2, 2004-008EQ for Part 18 (PSD), and 2004-54EQ for Part 19 (NSR)).
