A public hearing was held on December 3, 2001, on amendments to definitions in R 336.1105 and R 336.1113 relating to proposed new rules regarding emissions from start-up, shutdown, and malfunction of source processes and/or process equipment (ORR 2001-040EQ). 

In addition, there are proposed amendments to R 336.1102, R 336.1104, R 336.1107, R 336.1108, R 336.1118, and R 336.1120 to change "commission" to "department" and change "department of natural resources" to "department of environmental quality" to bring the Part 1, General Provisions, of the Air Pollution Control Rules up to date with Executive Orders and the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act, 1994 PA 451, as amended (Act 451).

The amended rules were filed with the Secretary of State on May 20, 2002, and became effective on May 28, 2002.  The final rules, Public Hearing Report, and Regulatory Impact Statement can be viewed by clicking on the buttons below.
