The Site Registry is a geographically-based site that presents information about locations of interest to the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) . This site contains information on completed cleanups and past operations as well as data on current operations and activities. Additional locations and compliance data from additional MDEQ databases will be added as resources become available.

Display of a location does not necessarily indicate any current or past problem, violation, or hazardous condition. This site will not present information on all sites stored in MDEQ 's databases or files. MDEQ will be continuing to expand and improve the site however to find out more about a specific activity or location, contact MDEQ.

Search Tips

Performing a search… Complete the fields on the search engine with information relevant to your search. You can search on Identification, Geographic, Compliance, or any combination of the fields. Your search will return records that match the search criteria. Use combinations of the search fields to narrow your target. If a search fails, try eliminating some of the field criteria and search again. The criteria box at the bottom of the search page will list all field criteria chosen for your query. A % key can be used as a wild card in the field. A% directly before or after a group of letters in a name will give you any site that has that group of letters within the word, e.g. air% gives you airport. A % with a space before or after a group of letters would give you any site whose name contained a word/words that either came before or after the group of letters, e.g. %_orion gives you Lake Orion.
